NATIONAL VITAL STATISTICS
According to the Violence Policy Center, between 1996-2009, 396 women have been killed by their husbands or intimate partners in the state of Nevada. In 2009, NEVADA ranked #1 out of all the states with the highest incidences of homicide related to domestic violence. The Violence Policy also stated that African American females are killed at a rated (3) times higher than their Caucasian counterparts. Please see statistics below.
A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER TO ALL FAITH LEADERS
These statistics have been provided to bring awarenessabout the severity of homicide due to domestic violence. In times of family crisis, tragedy and adversity, the CHURCH has been entrusted with the duty to take action for the sake of humanity.
Faith leaders, please, take action now. Please preach against domestic violence from the pulpit during Sunday Service. The word of the Lord can help in lowering these numbers and help to preserve innocent lives.
